Pre-school

Waratah Public School has classes from preschool to Year 6 on the one site. The Preschool is located across from the Administration Block. It is a double unit Preschool offering either 2 full day or 3 full day programs. The curriculum is based on the individual needs of the children by monitoring their social, physical and academic development.

Waratah Pre-school is staffed by two Early Childhood Teachers and two Teachers' Aides, all employed by the Department of Education and Training.

Children attend for:

3 day session, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday
OR
2 day session,Thursday and Friday

Opens at 9.00 am - 3.00 pm

Enrolment

To be eligible for enrolment in pre-school, children must turn 4 years on or before 31st July in the year in which they attend.

Children attend preschool the year before they start kindergarten. Enrolment preference is given to children within our local school zone, followed by children from our wider community.
